For the uninitiated, Almost Home Kids in Naperville is a nonprofit organization that provides community resources and activities that support the needs of children and families throughout the Midwest. The center's responsibilities include consulting, training, establishing care plans, as well as coordinating speaking engagements, conferences at hospitals and more. Tiffany Crowe, 38, the external affairs coordinator for the organization, makes sure the funding and human resources necessary to meet these responsibilities are met. For two years, Crowe has worked with Almost Home Kids, where she manages a volunteer core of 250 people who help to keep the center operating...
