There are many ways to fund services at Almost Home Kids. Our new law and new programs effective will help even more families receive additional benefits at Almost Home Kids. Please review your child's funding source and contact our office for information.
- DSCC Waiver - all children under the home and community based waiver are eligable for nursing care and respite care at Almost Home Kids. Please contact our office for details.
- DCFS - Please contact your DCFS agency and ask them to make CoACH House their agency of choice for referrals.
- DHS - If you child has a developmental disablility, then your child is eligable for our program provided he/she has a medical need as a priority. We cannot care for children with behavior disorders.
- Respite Grants - On occasion, we have grants for families; most often these funds are provided for families with no alternate payor source. Please inquire at Almost Home Kids.
- Self Pay - Respite Care can be provided at a rate of $185 per day up to five days.
- Insurance - If your insurance company pays for private duty nursing or your child needs to transition from hospital to home your child may be eligable for services by your insurance company. Simply contact your insurance and ask them if you have private duty nursing care in your policy. If they say yes, ask them how many dollars are allocated each month to private duty nursing? The funding you received from your insurance company should transfer to Almost Home Kids.
